The difference becomes visible when magnified: | Advantage of the vector: The graphic does not show any loss of quality even when magnified more than 16 times. | This is different with pixel graphics: The stair effect is clearly visible, the quality "suffers".
What does this mean for the production of your label? | A vector graphic can be further processed without any problems: No matter what size, colour or shape - it can be easily fitted and modified to fit your label. The same applies to fonts, by the way, every character is a vector. Thus, a vector graphic allows for quick and easy work. | Pixel graphics must be manually traced for further processing in order to generate a vector graphic. Depending on the motif and template, this is a complex and time-consuming process step. In addition, a 100% match between vector and original cannot be guaranteed, as the course of an edge is blurred by the stair effect (see above).
